The private sector created 1.8 million jobs from November to March, pointing to signs of a turn around in the labor market, according to the latest report from ADP and Macroeconomic Advisors.

The job market may be turning around, slowly. In November the U.S. economy added a record-breaking 297,000 private sector positions and unemployment claims are definitely coming down. Although, there are some who say not nearly fast enough. New figures indicate the non-farm private sector in the US generated an estimated 201,000 jobs during March 2011.

One of the major factors (other than housing) that has kept the economy in a recession and economist pessimistic are the job reports and unemployment.  According to ADP the private sector is on a steady incline of job growth while unemployment is steadily coming down. The gap is narrowing but slowly, none-the-less it does look as if we are headed in the right direction.

Looking at the above chart the Obama administration results are almost exactly the opposite of the Bush administration and is continuing to do better. The Bush administration took the country through job loss for twelve consecutive months. However, the Obama administration has provided the country with thirteen months of consecutive job growth.

With these numbers a turn around in the economy looks to be definitely on the horizon.  It my not happen over night but it does appear that we are headed in the correct direction.
